downloading issue

The message is about opening the last data file you had open, and it's because Gnucash crashed. (That's what happened when all of the Gnucash windows disappeared.) Just tell it that it's OK to open the file anyway. It's supposed to do that.

What do you mean "select the file and paste"?

That the URL is in gray with "sourceforge.net" in black tells me that you clicked on a gnucash download link somewhere and it opened in your browser. That's not from Gnucash -- Gnucash doesn't open stuff in your browser. Gnucash can't delete itself from your disk, either, so you must have done something to remove it from your Applications folder. There's something you're not telling us.
