gnucash won't start up

This is a GnuCash library and comes with GnuCash.  The problem is not
the lack of this library, but that one of its dependencies (most likely
one of the Gnome libraries) is not available.

This would be a Guile library...  Most likely from guile-1.6!

You're missing dependencies.  Complain to Ubuntu, as it's a packaging
error on their side.
