Report for shared expenses

yes, at least I haven't found another way yet
Be aware: You can encapsulate many reports into one by utilizing
Reports->Sample&Custom->Custom Multicolumn Reports
and then store the result with
File->Add Report
after which you will find it under
Reports->Custom Reports

By this it should be possible to have multiple cashflow reports in one 
view, each with specific options (here: time selection), and re-run them 
whenever needed without need to setup the time definitions again.

Your suspicion is correct, but make sure to "Select Children" in the 
account selection.

That sould only depend on the amount of date you have collected. I have 
one file that covers data from the past ten years and I am really 
careful to check which and how many accounts I have selected before I 
press the OK button ;-)
