How to I record a Credit Card purchase in foreign currency before receiving my bill?

What I do is put the foreign amount in the Description as a note to
myself and guess at what the actual value is.  I also mark the
transaction with "???" so I remember which onces I've fixed.  Then when
it finally hits my account I correct the amount from either my CC
Website or from my bill, whichever I see first, and I remove the "???".
