I have the recent Gnucash on the Windows 7 desktop. I want to install
the program on the laptop and move the one year of data to the Windows
8.1 laptop system
When I installed on Win 7 the gnucash files went into the AppData folder
as individual files-not in a subfolder such as is described in the FAQ
($Home/gnucash etc)
I have saved the activity in folder on Drive E. There are gnucash and
log files
If I install Gnucash on Windows 8.1 do I just copy the Drive E folder of
Gnucash records
Is there a better way of having the AppData gnucash files be in their
own folder?
I want to take the laptop to the accountant for the year end audit
I'll also print out reports.
The account is a community service Horticultural club so its a simple
Chart of Accounts and activities
