Invoices cannot be opened anymore

Sorry for the duplicate post but I did notice that someone stole the
thread :)

I have actually tested this on multiple OS/GnuCash version
combinations. At this time I am on Ubuntu 12.04/GnuCash 2.4.10. I have
also tested on Gentoo/GnuCash 2.4.11 and the issue is the same.

I have checked into when I upgraded to 2.4.x. Logs tell me that the
install was November 2012. I have GnuCash backup files from as far back
as April 2 2013 for the 2.4.x files. I noticed the issue yesterday when
GnuCash crashed. When I re-opened my file I noticed that I cannot search
for invoices. I did try to open many of my GnuCash backup files and they
all give the same problem. I do work by simply leaving the computer on
with GnuCash open and it is likely that the program has not been closed
and re-opened between April 2 and now.

Business -> Customer -> Find Invoice and then select [Invoice ID]
[matches regex] .
Returns no invoices. Blank list.

If I enable "search only active data" the result is exactly the same.

I have also since notices that my tax table entries show a long list of
empty items.

Thanks!
