Incompatibilities between 2.4 and 2.6?

I was able to use 2.6 and 2.4 but a note of caution. I did something
in 2.6 that made the file incompatible with 2.4. I have no idea what I
did that made it incompatible as I didn't think I had done anything
differently and I wasn't experimenting with any new features. I rolled
back to a previous file and I was able to open it in both 2.4 and 2.6
again. I now do all my work in 2.6 but I still have a version of 2.4
installed and can confirm I can still open it in both.
