Gnucash Crashing during QIF import

I see someone else has reported this crash in GnuCash 2.6.1 (found using a
Google search): https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=728050

HOWEVER there are several newer releases -- the 2.6.1 version was the one
that made it into Ubuntu 14.04 "Trusty Tahr" LTS, and it looks like your
distro is a derivative of Ubuntu Trusty. Unfortunately GnuCash 2.6.1 has a
few other bugs you might want to avoid.

You might try installing the latest 2.6.4 version of GnuCash via
http://GetDeb.net (tell it you are running Ubuntu 14.04 "Trusty").
Hopefully they also supply the gnucash-dbg package. If so, install it, too.

If the newer version also crashes on importing your QIF file, then reply to
the list (not me!) for further debugging information.

Developers may want to know more details on how it's crashing, with
information such as a stack trace http://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Stack_Trace
