Online Price Retrieval not working for US markets (and only US markets)

Thanks to everyone for trying to help. I'm not sure if this will post on the message board, but wanted to provide feedback on my fix for the problem.
In the end, I found a fix, which was uninstalling ActivePerl and installing StrawberryPerl. I tried with the 64 bit version of StrawberryPerl first, with no luck (in fact Finance::Quote wouldn't even install on it - error message), then tried the other version. It finally worked. I'm not sure why the 3 different versions of ActivePerl and 1 other version of StrawberryPerl I tried didn't worked, but it finally works now, so I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth.
Hopefully this post will help someone in the future, because it is only through past posts on this message board that I persevered with trying all these different versions of Perl. I'm not great with programming, so my only advice to someone with the same problem (all online retrieval of quotes working, except US markets), would be to try as many different versions of Perl as possible. In all cases use uninstall between trying versions and delete any directories for Strawberry or Perl left in C:\
Cheers and good luck.
Wei.
