Looks like it’s crashing during Guile startup. The most common reason for this in the past has been the presence of a music app called Lilypond, but there are other possibilities as well.
A couple of other tests:
* Create another user, log in as that new user, and start GnuCash.
* Right-click on the Gnucash menu item, select Properties, select the Compatibility tab, check “Run this program in compatibility mode”, and make sure “Windows XP (Service Pack 3)” is shown in the adjacent listbox.
