If I click any of the category labels, I find all the relevant entries together, in chronological order, presented on the usual 'pyjama' input screen, but no sign of a summation anywhere.

The only unusual thing is an old,old dBase 3+ program I wrote about 25 years ago for a library catalogue - still working perfectly, and (for our purposes) more user-friendly than most of the commercial products - no fancy colours, but it works !. It uses DOS of course.

I used the CD that came with this desktop computer about 5 years ago - there was an option to have W XP installed but allowing one to switch over to W7 whenever I liked.

Please remember to copy the list on all replies.

The cash flow report problem sounds like you selected the income and expense accounts as well as the asset accounts so that there was no net flow into or out of the selected set.

I’m not surprised that you don’t have another program using Guile. It’s not very common, it just happens that we had a bunch of user who were tripped up by it a couple of years ago.

You didn’t answer the question about what the upgrade did with the user directories. Did you try renaming the .gnucash directory?
