Unable to change language

Sami and Swedish are two very diffrent languages. 
sv does not load a Swedish translation se does (not Sami).
Logically it should be se as domain for Sweden is .se
Microsoft made a simular error with window 98, when auto kopling to the internet or such was introduced.

Why not just set LANG correctly? se is Sami, not Swedish. Swedish is sv. See http://www.iana.org/assignments/language-subtag-registry/language-subtag-registry.
