Importing Exported Data into Gnu Cash

Unfortunately GnuCash can’t read its own CSV export without editing it. Andy Lavarre figured out how to do this and posted a procedure at http://genietvanhetleven.blogspot.com/2014/10/importing-csv-into-gnucash.html.
Next time just copy the GnuCash xml file to a different computer, or better yet, routinely back it up to an offsite storage service like Dropbox.
