How do I create an Expense sub-account?

OOPS. I guess that should be:
Parent1_Assets:Bank1 -> Kid1_Assets:Cash
But how would an allowance be modeled? From the
Kid's viewpoint, it's income, but really it's just
a transfer of cash assets from Parent1 to KidI's cash
assets.
