Price Editor

OK now I am confused. Does GnuCash operate normally under Mint 18 or does
it hang when using the price editor? Or are you saying it operates normally
OTHERWISE?

Is your new installation of Linux Mint Mate 18 running the same version of
GnuCash and opening the same data file as the old version of Mint? (Earlier
in the thread I believe you mentioned several different versions of
GnuCash, but I don't know if you upgraded the older machine.) I remember
something about GnuCash operating normally on the older version of Mint,
but now I am not sure what that means.

Here's another thing to try -- create a new test data file and see if the
price editor hangs when editing price data in a new file without much in
it.
