Transactions locked

Try accessing them from Tools / General Ledger paying close attention to 
their Status as seen via View / Filter by / Status.  I'll wager they're 
Void or Frozen or similar.  IIRC you can fix whatever it is from the 
General Ledger view if you can't from a normal ledger view.
