Brian,Are you sharing the file with the .gnucash suffix in the standard format -ie not any of the database formats?
All of the methods you mention have serious security issues.  You may want to use a VPN or other more secure method.  You will need to get that from a specialist in such things.

I am trying to use gnucash to set up the finances for a new company. I wantthe files to be accessible and editable by other members of the company.I am having two problems.1. When I save a file under a new name, the old file can't be located. Wheni click on the old file to bring it up, the new file appears and i can'tfigure out how to sepperate the two.2. I've attempted to use google drive, drop box and email to share thefiles. The person on the other end cannot open them. We have the sameversion of gnucash and still the file won't open.If anyone could shed some light on these problems, it would be greatlyappreciated.Thanks,Brian_______________________________________________gnucash-user mailing listgnucash-user at gnucash.orghttps://lists.gnucash.org/mailman/listinfo/gnucash-user-----Please remember to CC this list on all your replies. You can do this by using Reply-To-List or Reply-All.
