Victor,
I know where the files are located, and had selected the Quackbooks 3-part
laser check. This morning I had a thought: what if I select Custom rather
than a pre-defined check? Turns out this is the solution. Now on the options
page I can define the coordinates to start every text string, which I'll do
this afternoon.
This is what I did with the LaTeX file for my checks in Ledger123 and I
was able to place text where it needed to be.

Yes. It is well known that memory is one of the first things to disappear
as we age. :-)
