Need assistance With GnuCash !!!

That sounds like the currency symbol is not valid for the display setting. You might check to see which font you are using overall; I seem to recall that in Windows, some fonts don’t display some currency symbols accurately (although I also believe that in this case the substituted display character is usually a box). 

Another thing to try is see what currency symbol you have for Norwegian Krone under Tools->Security Editor (check the Show Currencies box to see it); perhaps it is set to “+” for some reason.
