Reconciling an account

Just to be clear, because I’ve noticed this in your descriptions twice now - preferences are system wide. They are not account specific.

That setting is to show ALL credit (or income/expense) accounts as reversed sign.

That setting is not a category. It is a setting for displaying signs.

To set the Account Type to Credit Card, you need to follow the steps I just outlined in my previous reply. (use the Edit button with the account highlighted in the tree)
