The 'unblock' trick has to do with the downloaded .exe file.
If you can't even get that far, I'm not sure what you are 'unblocking',
but it sounds like the SourceForge auto-download is not working for you.
(could be an ad-blocker, or JavaScript issue)
There are two other methods you can try to download:
1. Direct from the Files section of SourceForge
When the SourceForge page comes up, after clicking the proper link on
GnuCash.org, click the "Gnucash" title (White, very large type) near the
app icon in the header right away. This should abandon the
auto-download. (or use this link to the project:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/gnucash/)
Click the "Files" tab under the header
Click the "gnucash (stable)" folder
Click the desired/current folder ("5.14" in this case)
Click the appropriate download link for your OS. (.exe on Windows)
2. Download from Github
Go to the Gnucash project on Github: https://github.com/Gnucash/gnucash/
In the "Releases" section on the right side-bar, click the "Gnucash
5.14" link
Scroll down to the Assets section
Click the desired download link. (again, .exe for Windows)
Please advise if neither work, with a screenshot of any error.
-----
Note, the direct links are always provided in the release notes posted
here to the list in the initial Announcement message.
Regards,
Adrien
p.s. - on SourceForge there is also a "Problem Downloading?" button on
the initial page link from Gnucash.org, if you click that, the pop-up
has a direct link at the top.
