Hi Geert/Maf/GNUCash users, 

Another option to using the Fedora RPM package would be to use the
Flatpak version of GNUCash -
https://flathub.org/apps/org.gnucash.GnuCash 

Instructions on getting Flatpak & Flathub to work on Fedora are here -

In addition, it looks like the current version of Fedora is 42 -

I have a feeling that GC v5 changed the "helper" wrapper scripts around
F::Q, and they no longer exist as they did in prior versions.

totally not sure on that in the slightest and a Dev may be along to
confirm
or deny!
