[GNC] Updated from 5.12 to 5.13 but cannot open GNUCASH any longer

Just to be clear, this error does not present itself on all Windows installations.

I have Windows 11 and version 5.13 installed and it is working perfectly.  Also, one individual commented that he had three different Windows 11 configurations (one chip supported Windows 11 laptop, one unsupported chip windows 11 laptop and one unsupported Windows 11 desktop) and two of the three were working.  The one that did not work was a specific laptop (unsupported Windows 11 chip) by a specific hardware manufacturer.

Based upon this information, the bug seems to be related to specific older Windows 11 (or Windows 10) configurations on specific chipsets.  But this is only a guess by me.  Based upon my limited experiences - Windows 11 fully supported chipset - Gnucash seems to be installing and working fine.

Go figure!

Those errors are also reported in another thread titled "GnuCash v5.13
doesn't start and I can't reach https://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Bugzilla".

Though it does get a bit technical, you can follow along there.

In the meantime, you can fall back to 5.12 to get work done.
