how to delete a data file and to move data file on Mac

Hi, I just installed and started using Gnucash 2.2. on Mac OS 10.4.11
After the installation, I created a couple of files for testing, now  
I want to delete these files (data files),
but I can't seem to find a way to delete them.
If I delete the data files from Mac finder window, the file names  
still show up under Gnucash File->

Also, I would like to move my data file to a different directory on  
my Mac, how do I do this?
